YES!!!!!! Love this as a dad. It really inspires me as I have an infant son. My worst “fear” is that he will be just like me. I love how your message focuses more on God and less on me.

I am not a regular reader of your site. I stumbled on it by chance (God really) about 30 minutes ago. As I sat here in tears over frustration with my son, I prayed for help. My smartphone jingled an email notification. Someone had forwarded me an email (out of the blue) with a link to this very story. While I’m a mom and not a dad, my internal struggle was with the same question. God bless you for sharing!!!

good stuff. I preached a while back on Father’s Day and my sermon was titled “Ways for Husbands to Love their Wives” (http://plymouthbc.org/sermons?sermon_id=22) and my main and repeated point was “The greatest gift fathers can give to their children is a deeply rooted and consistently growing love for their wives.” Great post, guys!
