Prayer Day

It’s time again for our monthly Prayer Day. We want to consistently offer the opportunity to bear each other’s burdens, because everyone needs a safe space to come and ask for prayer.

Prayer Day for Boy Dads. Know any dads who need prayer? Point them this way!

Leave your request in the comments. Then, if you have the time, leave another comment with a written prayer for the person right above you. Let’s support each other, holding up each other’s arms in this battle to raise godly men.

Let’s pray.

Praise god for this group and the wonderful, helpful, and encouraging resources it is. God please help me to be the dad my son needs so he can be the man of God you are calling him to be. Protect his mind, body, and soul today Jesus. Amen!

Hey dads. Just finished listening to a podcast from Matt Chandler of The village church. The sermon was titled God and Government.: http://feeds.feedburner.com/TVCSermonAudio. Anyway, great message about. Praying for our leaders. Especially praying for our president. Its amazing that God would put this on my heart and then open my mail and see that it was”prayer day”. Wow. Good luck dads

I have accepted a job in another community. We will be leaving a community that has been very good to us and a house that my wife loves. I pray for a smooth transition for my wife and four boys, and then for me.

A little late here but thought I would share. I’m already a dad to a wonderful 18 month old but have a little boy on the way (24 weeks along!). It’s a different feeling knowing a boy is on its way and I am the main person he will learn from and what a huge responsibility that will be. So I would ask for prayer that God would grow my character and wisdom for the coming years as I have the privilege of raising His children.
